Job summary

Apache Industrial is seeking an Estimating Manager (Midstream) to lead the estimating function for the midstream business line, overseeing a team of estimators responsible for bids on pipeline, compression, gas processing, and terminal projects.

The role focuses on accurate cost estimation, bid strategy, and coordination with operations and business development, reporting to the Vice President of Estimating.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience reading isometric drawings.
• 5+ years of estimating industrial services lines of business, with midstream experience strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience leading estimating teams.
• 10+ years of industrial services experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, mentors, and develops a team of estimators, including hiring, training, workload assignment, and performance management.
• Interprets contract documents, guides the preparation of estimates and bid proposals.
• Manages bid flow for the midstream business line and prioritizes bid opportunities.
• Reviews estimates, establishes standards, and maintains cost databases for midstream work.
• Prepares midstream forecasts and bid pipeline tracking.
• Creates and presents reports to senior leadership.
• Builds relationships with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
• Partners with operations and business development to align bid strategy with midstream goals.
