Qualifications

• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum; show written prep evidence.
• Prepare lessons with accommodations for diverse learning styles.
• Present material according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Plan and use varied instructional strategies, materials, and equipment for student needs.
• Assess student learning needs and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula as needed (IEP).
• Coordinate with staff to set instructional goals and supervise aides/volunteers.
• Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning.
