Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a SPED teacher to support K-12 students who require additional supports to succeed in a traditional school setting.

You will utilize SESI’s instructional models and the CASE PBIS framework to help students reach academic and social-emotional goals. In collaboration with school teams and families, you will assess student progress, adapt instruction, and develop skill-focused lesson plans while maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or equivalent.
• Valid teaching credential in SPED or eligible for certification.
• Experience with diverse learners recommended.

Responsibilities

• Teach knowledge and skills to a diverse group of students.
• Use assessment data to modify short- and long-term plans to promote academic progress.
• Develop and maintain skill-appropriate lesson plans.
