Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a dedicated special education teacher to support K-12 students in in-district classrooms and standalone schools across our national network.

You will diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps, collaborating with school teams and families to deliver SESI’s evidence-based models and CASE PBIS framework. You will create individualized lesson plans, implement behavior strategies, and help students progress toward academic

Aufgaben

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Use SESI's instructional models, strategies, and curricula to teach knowledge and skills.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies, including de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint when necessary to maintain safety.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and high-risk evaluation forms.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise and monitor students, including to and from locations within the school.
