Job summary

FullBloom's Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a dedicated special education teacher to support K-12 students with diverse needs.

You will work within SESI’s in-district classrooms and standalone schools, applying data-driven instructional models and SESI’s CASE PBIS framework to address learning, behavioral, and social-emotional goals. You will collaborate with school teams and families to tailor lesson plans, track progress, and ensure student safety with appropriate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying developmental, cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models, strategies, and curricula to teach knowledge and skills, nurture confidence and character, and meet the needs of all students.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies, including de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint when necessary to maintain the safety of students and staff.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and high-risk evaluation forms.
• Drive, record, and track student growth and progress toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise and monitor students, including to and from locations within the school.
