Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a dedicated teacher to support K-12 students needing additional academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports. Join a nationwide network delivering in-district classrooms and standalone schools with a PBIS-based CASE framework.

You will design and implement data-driven instructional plans, collaborate with families and school teams, and participate in ongoing professional development, training, and credentialing support as part of our team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; valid teaching certification preferred.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Develop and maintain lesson plans aligned to objectives.
• Use assessment data to modify short- and long-term instructional plans.
• Collaborate with team to foster critical thinking and rigor.
• Apply behavior support and intervention strategies as needed.
• Support safety through de-escalation and crisis management when required.
• Track student growth and maintain required forms and files.
• Participate in daily school functions, conferences, and trainings.
