Job summary

Saugus Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Saugus Middle School Special Education Behavioral Therapeutic Teacher to support students with emotional disabilities. You will work under Massachusetts certification in special education and join a multi-disciplinary team to deliver tailored instruction and IEP-driven planning.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing a classroom-wide Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS), collaborating with the district BCBA on Behavior

Qualifications

• 2-3 years teaching experience
• IEP writing, evaluation and report writing experience
• Must work collaboratively with the district BCBA to implement student BIP
• Alert the ETL and Team when student presentation changes necessitating changes in the BIP
• Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder students
• Ability to manage classroom support staff and advocate for students
