Job summary

Digital Pioneers Academy seeks a dedicated Middle School Math/STEM Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and real-world STEM experiences. The role emphasizes collaboration with a STEM and Humanities team to plan instruction, analyze data, and support scholars across content areas.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of high achievement, at least two years in urban teaching, and a commitment to an inclusive, student-centered learning culture that develops innovators

Qualifications

• Proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience in an urban public or charter school setting.
• Evidence of self-motivation, diligence and willingness to be a team player.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high moral character.
• Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic achievement and leadership; Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with parents and scholars, investing in school culture and academics.
• Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards.
• Teach scholars using an inquiry-based curriculum emphasizing logic and reasoning.
• Design assessments to measure progress towards standards and inform instruction.
• Analyze scholar work and data to refine curriculum and drive high-leverage instructional moves.
