Job summary

Englewood Public School District is seeking a Learning Support Paraprofessional at Englewood Middle School. You will provide direct instructional support to students with mild to moderate learning disabilities, assist with assignments, and help implement IEP goals in a collaborative, inclusive classroom environment.

The role involves behavior support, data collection, and occasional bus supervision, with a non-exempt, 7.5 hour day schedule across 175 days per year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• English fluency will be determined through the interview process.
• Colorado Driver's License is required; First Aid/ CPR certification within six months of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students, reinforcing concepts and assisting with assignments.
• Implement behavior management plans and support positive student behavior.
• Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and families to support goals and ensure confidentiality.
• Supervise students in various settings and assist with transportation as needed.
