Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a passing ParaPro exam.
• Alternative: 60 college credit hours or associate degree.
• Preferred: associate's degree and one year related experience.
• Relevant knowledge of student privacy laws and IEPs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instructional process with students individually or in small groups under supervision.
• Prepare and organize instructional aids and technology as directed.
• Support teachers in reinforcing positive learning and behavior.
• Assist in development of study skills and achievement of objectives.
• Support parental involvement activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Perform related clerical duties and recordkeeping as directed.
• Provide support in computer labs, libraries, or learning facilities as appropriate.
• Assist in implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP).
