The School District of Lee County is seeking an Instructional Support professional for the Fort Myers area to assist in prekindergarten and early childhood learning services. This role involves supporting instructional delivery, managing learning aids, and helping implement teacher-developed plans under supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or an associate’s degree and potential substitution with related experience.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent and passing score on ParaPro Exam.
• Or completion of 60 credit hours or an Associate's degree from an accredited institution.
• Relevant work experience or education may substitute to satisfy minimum qualifications.
• Knowledge of privacy laws (FERPA, HIPAA) and records retention is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist instructional process with students individually or in small groups.
• Assist in preparation and use of instructional aids and technology.
• Reinforce positive learning and behavior patterns with students.
• Support development of study skills and achievement of objectives.
• Support parental involvement activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Perform clerical and recordkeeping duties as directed.
• Provide computer lab/library support when appropriate.
• Assist with implementation of IEPs and translations when able.
