Job summary

The School District of Lee County is seeking an Instructional Support staff member for Green Meadow Elementary in Fort Myers, FL. You will assist teachers by supporting instructional delivery, organizing materials, and facilitating small-group work with students under supervision.

Responsibilities include preparing instructional aids, supporting learning activities, maintaining confidentiality, and performing clerical duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and passing score on ParaPro Exam or 60 college credits/AA degree.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of privacy laws and student records standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the instructional process with students individually or in small groups under supervision.
• Assist in preparation and use of instructional aids and technology as directed.
• Support teachers in reinforcing positive learning and behavior.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Perform clerical and recordkeeping duties as directed.
