Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience playing volleyball; college playing is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years coaching experience with a successful program.
• Knowledge of volleyball techniques, rules and training theory.
• Ability to lead and inspire diverse youth and work with low-income students.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning and overseeing all aspects of the team.
• Ensuring the team is competitive and character-building.
• Recruiting students to participate and collaborate with the elementary and middle divisions to develop talent pipelines
• Establishing year-round strategies and processes to train & invest in skill development.
• Creating skill enrichment programs and opportunities.
• Leading all practice sessions and coaching at all games and events.
• Providing exceptional personal coaching and leadership of the players.
