MHS provides enrolled students an amazing multitude of athletic opportunities, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and programs led by committed coaching staffs. MHS offers Varsity, JV, Junior High, and Recreational teams for 15 sports and intramural programs. Athletic programs begin in Elementary and Middle Division and culminate to the Senior Division Varsity level. Our program has produced many successful seasons ending with Mid Penn Conference, PIAA District III, and PIAA State Championships. Many athletes also advance to play at the college level after graduation from MHS.
MHS is seeking a Middle School Girls' Volleyball Head Coach for a one-year ancillary position. The Head Coach is responsible for leading the program year-round to develop students athletically and competitively, as well as instilling character so they excel in their sport and in life. The season begins in March and ends in May. Practice is generally Monday-Friday 3:15 pm-5:30 pm or 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm with two or three matches per week starting at 4:00 pm. There are some Saturday Tournaments during the season. Off-season work is flexible and necessary for this position. Stipend amount based on experience & working the entire season: $4,409 - $5,731/season.
