Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking a Wrestling Head Coach for Middle School for a one-year ancillary position. The season runs November through February with evening practices.

The role requires at least 3 years coaching experience, knowledge of wrestling techniques, and the ability to lead a program and work with students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

This is a part-time, temporary opportunity with a stipend based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of successful coaching experience with demonstrated success in establishing a highly competitive program, while also instilling high‑quality character.
• Must have current knowledge of techniques, rules and regulations, and training theory of the sport.
• Demonstrated ability to lead & inspire diverse youth. Experience working with students from disadvantaged backgrounds, preferred.
• Demonstrated exceptional organizational and planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and lead a team of coaches.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate & influence in cross‑functional settings.
• Ability to build a network to facilitate new and creative opportunities.
• Candidates must be eager to build the program & invest in student talent development year‑round.
