Milton Hershey School is seeking a Middle School Volleyball Assistant Coach to support the 7th & 8th grade girls program. You will help organize practices and matches, aligning with the head coach to foster growth and teamwork among student athletes.

The role emphasizes coaching knowledge, safe skill development, and the ability to engage diverse youth, with a season running March through May and occasional weekend tournaments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver’s license required.
• At least one year of coaching experience or playing at collegiate level preferred.
• Knowledge of current coaching techniques, rules and training theory.
• Ability to teach beginner skills while developing various skill levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse youth.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with organization and administration of the 7th & 8th grade girls volleyball program.
• Support practice scheduling and game management (mon-sat as noted).
• Participate in off-season work as needed.
• Demonstrate safe, structured skill development and high character in student athletes.
