Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks a Wrestling Head Coach for a one-year ancillary position at the Middle School (5th & 6th grade). The season runs November through February with evening practices, and the stipend is based on experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of coaching success, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to building a program that develops student talent and character, in alignment with MHS values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of successful coaching experience with demonstrated success in establishing a highly competitive program.
• Demonstrated ability to lead & inspire diverse youth.
• Experience working with students from disadvantaged backgrounds, preferred.
• Demonstrated exceptional organizational and planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and lead a team of coaches.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate & influence in cross-functional settings.

Responsibilities

• Coach wrestling for middle school (5th & 6th grade) from November to February.
• Lead practices twice per week, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Establish and maintain a competitive program with strong character development.
• Collaborate with other coaches and school staff to support student-athletes.
• Uphold school policies and promote inclusion and integrity.
