Job summary

YMCA of Memphis & The MId seeks a Site Director to lead the Club Y program for middle school students, ensuring a safe, structured environment and positive youth development.

You will supervise staff, implement schedules, and build partnerships with families and schools while maintaining DHS and YMCA policies and documentation. This is an in-person, full-time role requiring evening/weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age and pass pre-employment background checks/drug screening.
• Four years of college with 2 years experience administering a child care/educational program, including staff supervisory experience.
• Two years of college with 30 hours in business or management, child or youth development, or related field and 2 years experience administering a child care/educational program, which includes staff supervisory experience.
• High school diploma with 4 years experience administering a child care/educational program and 30 hours of TECTA administrator or CDA; staff supervisory experience.
• Current CPR/AED, First Aid and Child Abuse Training or obtain with 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of Club Y programming ensuring safety, inclusivity, and engagement.
• Manage staff, conduct trainings, and supervise scheduling and attendance.
• Build partnerships with families and schools to integrate programming.
• Ensure DHS and YMCA policies are followed and maintain required documentation.
• Support data collection, enrollment tracking, and reporting as required.

Education

Four years of college with 2 years experience administering a child care/educational program including staff supervisory experience

Two years of college with 30 hours in business/management or youth development and 2 years experience administering a child care/educational program including staff supervisory experience

High school diploma with 4 years experience administering a child care/educational program and 30 hours of TECTA/CDA; staff supervisory experience
