Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of South-Central Tennessee is seeking a Program Director to lead site operations, oversee daily programming, and supervise staff and volunteers. The role ensures safety, program quality, and alignment with organizational goals for youth ages 5-18.

The position requires coordination with school partners and parents, managing memberships, and reporting outcomes to the Area Director. Full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1–3 years' work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated ability to lead youth and manage group activities.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily implementation of youth development programs and activities.
• Monitor and support coordinators across multiple activity areas.
• Ensure participants receive instruction, feedback, and engagement.
• Conduct program evaluation and track outcomes.
• Input attendance and tutoring hours into databases weekly.
• Maintain staff-to-child ratios and supervise staff/volunteers.
• Ensure safety protocols and organizational policies are followed.
• Communicate with school administration, parents, and Area Director.
• Manage memberships, fees, and reports; assist with budget and expenses.
