Job summary

Milford Public Schools is seeking a Behavior Assistant for Stacy Middle School in Milford, MA. The role supports students with disabilities, collaborates with teachers, and helps implement IEP goals during the 2026-2027 school year with hours 7:45–2:15.

Pay ranges from $19.67 to $25.67 per hour based on experience and certification. Starting October 2026, candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in Special Education and working with students with disabilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide/support direct educational services.
• Work with students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with classroom staff (sub-separate and/or inclusion).
• Create opportunities for generalization and maintenance of skills.
• Complete daily logs as necessary.
• Maintain student notebooks and materials.
• Participate in program meetings/trainings.
• Review progress on IEP goals.
• Support students in ADL per IEP/care plan.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Lead Teacher/Administrator.
