Job summary

Milford Public Schools is seeking two Teaching Assistants for Stacy Middle School in Milford, Massachusetts. The roles are full-time for the 2026-2027 school year, with hours from 7:45 to 2:15 and starting in October 2026.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. SEI endorsement and experience with students with disabilities, including English Language Learners, are desirable. CPI training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement preferred.
• Experience working with students with and without disabilities.
• Demonstrate ability to assist in inclusion/Special Education classroom.
• Experience working with English Language Learners
• Bilingual preferred
• CPI training preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist small groups and/or individual students toward academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral goals within the classroom with guidance from the teacher.
• Communicate and collaborate with teachers.
• Provide direct instruction in an inclusion classroom or small group setting.
• Modify curriculum as needed.
• Attend and participate in training opportunities.
• Perform supervisory duties as assigned by school administration.
