Job summary

Sagent Behavioral Health seeks a School Based Therapist to deliver comprehensive mental health services to middle school students in Mendota Heights. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing support within a Friendly Hills Middle School environment, collaborating with school staff, parents, and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
• Clinical licensure or licensure track for MN: LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children and adolescents.
• Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and clinical notes.
• Proficient in Office 365 and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement and maintain treatment plans and complete ongoing documentation.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel and school staff.
• Provide consultation to parents and school staff.
• Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings.
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team.
