Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of employment law experience.
  • Experience counseling employers on employment matters.
  • Experience drafting and reviewing employment policies.
  • Knowledge of ADA, FMLA, and related compliance.
  • Experience drafting employment contracts and conducting investigations.
  • Excellent academic credentials with strong legal writing and analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Active admission to the Washington State Bar.

Position Title: Mid- to Senior-Level Advice and Counsel Associate

Salary Range: $190,000–$220,000 / Year, DOE

An established national labor and employment law firm is seeking a Mid- to Senior-Level Advice and Counsel Associate to join its Seattle office. This role focuses on helping employers navigate complex, day-to-day workplace issues, from ADA and FMLA matters to employment policies, contracts, training, and workplace investigations. The attorney will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while managing sophisticated employment matters with a practical, business-focused approach.

The ideal candidate is an experienced employment attorney who enjoys the counseling side of the practice, communicates clearly with clients and brings the judgment, initiative and confidence to independently manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities
