Qualifications

• 7–10 years of employment litigation and class action experience.
• Experience defending employers in discrimination, wrongful termination, covenants, and wage/hour disputes.
• Ability to draft discovery, pleadings, motions, and agency statements.
• Experience taking and defending depositions and arguing motions.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Active bar admission in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in employment litigation matters including discrimination and wage disputes.
• Manage complex class action litigation from strategy through resolution.
• Draft discovery requests/responses, pleadings, dispositive motions, and agency statements.
• Argue motions and prepare/depose witnesses.
• Advise clients on workplace policies and day-to-day employment law issues.
• Collaborate with partners and teams through the firm’s case assignment system.
• Manage multiple matters with excellent client service.

Position Title: Senior Class Action Attorney

Salary: $215,000+ DOE

An established national labor and employment law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Class Action Attorney to join its Seattle office. This is an opportunity to handle sophisticated employment litigation matters while working with a collaborative team known for its strong reputation, supportive leadership, and innovative approach to legal practice. You'll represent employers in complex class action and employment disputes, manage high-level litigation strategy, and work directly with clients on impactful legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in employment litigation matters involving discrimination, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour disputes
• Manage complex class action litigation from strategy through resolution
• Draft discovery requests and responses, initial pleadings, dispositive motions, and agency position statements
• Prepare and argue motions with strong written and oral advocacy
• Take and defend depositions
• Advise clients on workplace policies and day‑to‑day employment law issues
• Collaborate with multiple partners and litigation teams on a variety of matters through the firm’s free‑market case assignment system
• Manage multiple matters while maintaining exceptional client service and legal work product

Requirements

• 7–10 years of employment litigation and class action experience
• Significant experience handling employment‑related class action matters
• Experience defending employers in disputes involving discrimination, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour claims
• Ability to draft discovery, pleadings, dispositive motions, and agency position statements with persuasive advocacy
• Experience taking and defending depositions and arguing motions
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Active bar admission in the state of practice
• Self‑starter who works independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Experience advising clients on workplace policies is a plus
