Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance of production equipment, buildings, lighting, and grounds. You will drive uptime and continuous improvement while maintaining safety and QA standards.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance mechanics and electricians, managing the PM program, coordinating with the production team, and ensuring inventory, parts and 5S standards are in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or Technical Degree with 3 years of related experience.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience.
• 3+ years in a Manufacturing environment.
• Strong relationship skills across all organizational levels.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; networking and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety culture and ensure safety training attendance.
• Identify and retain effective personnel and assign tasks.
• Develop supervisors and staff in welding, sheet metal, steam generation, refrigeration, instrumentation.
• Prepare and manage the department budget to meet financial goals.
• Ensure activities meet QA standards and SQF requirements.
• Lead maintenance staff and schedule activities with hourly workers.
• Create, approve and track work orders; support PM program and inventory.
