Job summary

Leidos is recruiting for a Mid/Sr System Administrator to support a large, distributed network environment within the Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). The role emphasizes system admin tasks, security hardening, patch management, and ensuring high availability across air-gapped domains.

The candidate will install applications, manage configurations, and engage in capacity planning, incident resolution, and documentation. Clear TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with substantial relevant experience; substitutions allowed.
• Hands-on experience supporting Linux and Windows servers and workstations; strong system administration skills.
• Experience with OS/app hardening (DISA, best practices) in high-assurance environments.
• Experience with deployment, patch management, OS and backup/restore functions.
• Proficiency with Windows Server 2016/2019 and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Install applications, administer systems and processes, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Optimize server and desktop configurations to ensure reliable, continuous operations.
• Perform security management and application performance optimization activities.
• Create and maintain documentation for complex server/network environments.
• Communicate with users and external support personnel regarding outages and upgrades.
