Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid/Sr System Administrator to support a large, distributed network environment within the Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). The role emphasizes system engineering requests, upgrades, and sustaining capabilities across air-gapped domains, with a focus on security and reliability.

The candidate should have extensive experience in Linux/Windows, AD, patching, vulnerability management, and deployment, and must be comfortable with travel and a TS/SCI with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Substantial experience providing admin support to large groups of end users and technical staff.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Linux and Windows servers/workstations.
• At least 5 years with OS/app hardening (DISA, best practices, high-assurance).
• At least 5 years with deployment, patching, backups, and restore functions.
• Proficient with Windows Server 2016/2019 and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Install applications, administer systems and processes, and resolve issues promptly.
• Optimize server/desktop configurations for reliable, continuous operations.
• Perform security management and application performance optimization.
• Maintain complex server enclaves and analyze patching, cert renewals, vulnerability assessments, and AD configurations.
• Identify and correct hardware and software issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for incident resolution and system configurations.
• Communicate outages, upgrades, and resolutions with users and management.
