Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience as a systems administrator providing direct support to users and staff.
• Proficient with Windows Server 2019 and Active Directory.
• Experience with software/hardware deployment, patches, OS, backup/restore.
• Familiar with SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds, Nessus.
• Experience with Red Hat and VMware.
• Strong understanding of information security principles and practices.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel occasionally.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Install applications and administer systems to keep environments running efficiently.
• Maintain server and desktop configurations and monitor performance.
• Perform security management and performance optimization.
• Create and maintain documentation for complex server/network environments.
• Communicate outages and upgrades with users and management.
• Support a large, geographically distributed IT environment including air-gapped systems.
