Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid/Sr System Administrator to support a large, complex network environment across air-gapped domains. You will install applications, harden systems, and manage security, patching, and backup tasks while coordinating with end users and tiers of support.

The role requires strong Linux/Windows administration, experience with AD, and the ability to travel for CONUS/OCONUS assignments. TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Experience as a systems administrator supporting large groups of end users and technical staff
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux and Windows-based servers
• 5+ years of hands-on OS and application hardening in high-assurance environments
• 5+ years of software/hardware deployment, patch management, and backup/restore functions
• Proficiency with Windows Server 2016/2019 and Active Directory
• Ability to travel including CONUS/OCONUS trips annually
• Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Install applications and administer systems to ensure reliable, ongoing operations
• Optimize server/desktop configurations for performance and security
• Manage security hardening and vulnerability remediation
• Maintain documentation for complex server/network environments
• Coordinate outages and upgrades with users and management
• Support incident resolution and provide effective re-work solutions
