Job summary

Paychex is seeking an accomplished mid-market sales professional in Modesto, CA to drive new logos and expand solutions for growing businesses. You’ll sell Paychex Flex and HR services, while building a robust pipeline through outbound activity and strong account management.

You’ll engage with business owners and decision-makers, owning the full sales cycle from discovery to closing in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional sales experience.
• 2+ years HCM experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate consultative, solution-based sales conversations.
• Strong prospecting mindset with outbound drive.
• CRM software experience.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business by prospecting and winning new logos within your assigned territory.
• Sell Paychex Flex and advanced HR services.
• Execute outbound activity to build a pipeline.
• Lead consultative conversations with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Manage a high-velocity sales process with 1-2 call closes.
• Own the full sales process—from discovery to closing.
