Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Mid-Level Test Engineer/Analyst to join a defense-focused team. The role involves real-time HWIL systems, tactical software/hardware, and digital models of missile defense systems.

The candidate will design and maintain analysis tools, develop test cases for software and system integration, and perform performance analysis across varied projects, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Direct operational or test experience with Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS).
• Proficient in data manipulation/visualization, signal/data processing, and system engineering using MATLAB or similar tools.
• Ability to develop reports/briefings that explain complex system behaviors clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze test results for missile defense systems and algorithms.
• Develop and maintain test cases to support software and system integration.
• Support performance analysis, modeling & simulation, post-flight reconstruction, and risk reduction.
• Document results in test reports and develop system requirements.
