Job summary

i3 Integration Innovation, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Test Engineer/Analyst to join a seasoned team supporting real-time HWIL testing of a tactical missile defense system in Huntsville, AL.

You will work with HWIL hardware/software and digital representations of complex systems to assess performance and reliability. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s in engineering with 5+ years of experience, US citizenship, and an active secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires US Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant working experience.
• Direct operational or test experience with Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS).
• Proficient in data manipulation and analysis, data visualization, signal/data processing, electromagnetics, and/or system engineering using MATLAB or similar tools.
• Ability to develop and/or contribute to reports and briefings that explain complex system behaviors to diverse audiences.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.
• Must have an active secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analysis tools and perform complex analyses of missile defense system performance.
• Develop and maintain test cases to support software and system integration.
• Support a broad range of projects including performance analysis, modeling/simulation, post-flight reconstruction, and risk reduction.
• Apply engineering principles across systems engineering concepts and methods.
• Analyze and document results of test cases in software/hardware test reports.
• Develop system requirements to support system functionality.
