UCP Long Island, Commack, NY, seeks a Residential Shift Supervisor for our 31-bed Intermediate Care Facility. You will lead Direct Care Staff on your shift, coordinating daily activities and ensuring high-quality care, safety, and independence for individuals served.

This full-time role offers a Tuesday-Saturday daytime schedule, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with competitive pay and shift differentials, plus paid training and certification opportunities in a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience supporting individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities.
• Valid New York State Driver's License with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Management experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Direct Care Staff during assigned shift and ensure high-quality care.
• Coordinate daily activities and program requirements.
• Adjust schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and safety.
• Mentor staff and maintain attendance, training, and records.
• Support residents in daily living, recreation, and community involvement.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
