Job summary

UCP of Long Island seeks a Program Supervisor to oversee operations of multiple residential homes, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services. You will mentor managers, maintain regulatory compliance, and support goals for independence.

The role requires leading diverse teams, coordinating staffing, budgeting, and collaborating with families and external providers. A bachelor’s degree and OPWDD management experience are essential, as is a NYS driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1-3 years of OPWDD management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid New York State Driver's License + 1-year licensed driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Residential Managers, Assistant Managers, Nurses, Social Workers, Behavioral Specialists, and Recreation Therapists.
• Ensure adequate staffing and scheduling across assigned residences.
• Maintain compliance with OPWDD, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitor program quality, documentation, and service delivery.
• Review and oversee incident management processes.
• Audit consumer records and prepare for regulatory reviews.
• Manage program budgets and financial operations.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with families, care teams, and external providers.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.
• Participate in a rotating on-call leadership schedule
