Job summary

Dennis Group in Duluth, MN is seeking a process engineer to design and implement food and beverage processing facilities. You will develop unit operations, prepare diagrams, and coordinate with engineers, designers, and architects from concept to start-up.

Travel up to 50% may be required to support onsite construction and commissioning. The role emphasizes process design basis, mass and energy balances, and the development of P&IDs, with opportunities to lead projects and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or process engineering.
• 4-7 years of work experience developing process designs for food and beverage processing facilities.
• 4-7 years of work experience preparing process flow diagrams and P&IDs.
• 4-7 years of work experience sizing and specification of process equipment.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop process design basis and select unit operations.
• Prepare process flow diagrams and P&IDs.
• Coordinate with other project disciplines (engineers, designers, architects).
• Provide onsite construction start-up and commissioning support.
• Lead process engineering on specific projects and act as client main process contact.
