Job summary

Dennis Group designs and builds food and beverage processing facilities. Process Engineers work across controls, packaging, mechanical, electrical, and building systems from concept to start-up. They help optimize operations with flow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment specs.

Responsibilities include executing engineering tasks through design to execution, developing design basis, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, with travel up to 50% for site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or process engineering (required).
• 8+ years of experience developing process designs for food & beverage facilities.
• 8+ years of experience preparing P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
• 8+ years of experience sizing and specifying process and process-utility equipment.
• Experience with project scope, budget and schedules in professional services.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering tasks for design through execution with minimal supervision.
• Develop process design basis and select unit operations.
• Coordinate with other project disciplines (engineers, designers, architects).
• Prepare process flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
• Assist project management with scope, budget and schedule for process work.
• Provide on-site construction start-up and commissioning support.
• Lead process engineering on specific projects and act as client main contact.
