Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Process Engineer to design and build food and beverage processing facilities. You will develop process design bases, create P&IDs, and coordinate with engineers, designers and architects from concept through commissioning.

The role requires 4–7 years in process design for food & beverage plants, proficiency with MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD, and the ability to travel up to 50% for onsite coordination and client interaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical or process engineering required.
• 4–7 years of experience developing process designs for food and beverage facilities.
• 4–7 years of experience preparing P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
• 4–7 years of experience sizing and specifying process equipment.
• Experience with project scope, budget and schedules preferred.
• Familiarity with sanitary design principles and food safety standards is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills and client interaction experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for onsite coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop process design bases and select unit operations.
• Prepare process flow diagrams and P&IDs; create mass and energy balances.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and review drawings.
• Lead on specific projects and serve as primary client contact.
• Provide onsite startup and commissioning support.
• Develop equipment performance requirements and cost estimates.
• Support project management with scope, budget and schedule.
