Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to design and implement food and beverage processing facilities. You will contribute across controls, packaging, mechanical, electrical, and building systems from concept through startup, including P&IDs, flow diagrams, and mass/energy balances.

Responsibilities include leading process design activities, collaborating with project teams, and supporting client interactions. Extensive travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or process engineering is required.
• 8+ years of work experience developing process designs for food and beverage facilities is expected.
• 8+ years of experience preparing P&IDs and process flow diagrams is required.
• 8+ years sizing and specifying process equipment and process utilities is expected.
• 8+ years developing project scope, budget and schedules is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering tasks from design through execution with minimal supervision.
• Develop process design basis and select unit operations.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and prepare P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
• Size and specify process equipment and process utilities.
• Assist with project scope, budget and schedule development.
