Amentum is seeking a software engineer to join a small team focused on hard-to-process mission data. You will develop and enhance processing-intensive analytics, real-time systems, and large data workflows, collaborating closely with a customer to define requirements and deliver robust software solutions.

The role involves using AI-enabled tools to support documentation, code reviews, and test generation within a collaborative, multi-person team environment. TS/SCI with Poly is required.

Formación

• 2 years of software development experience primarily in Java.
• Minimal Linux administration experience.
• Minimal scripting/Ansible/Puppet experience.
• Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Poly.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1 year of experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Preferred: Docker, Maven, GitLab, CI/CD processes.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document results.
• Resolve software problem reports.
• Provide input on system design including hardware/software trade-offs and reuse.
