Amentum is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to support multiple applications within the customer enterprise security posture. The role emphasizes understanding and monitoring both virtual and physical systems, developing alerts, and updating software as needed.

Collaboration with teams to discuss requirements and implement solutions is key. The position requires 14 years of Java-focused software development experience and a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• 14 years of software development experience with the majority in Java.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with Docker, Maven, GitLab, CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document results.
• Resolve software problem reports and provide input on design trade-offs and reuse.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Support documentation and software development process standards.
