Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, or related discipline (or equivalent military or field experience).
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in telecommunications network engineering, circuit integration, or infrastructure planning.
• Deep technical command of BGP, TCP/IP, MPLS, and IPv6, specifically for TDM‑to‑IP conversion.
• Hands‑on experience with optical networking (fiber) and related hardware, servers, testing and validation.
• Proven ability to model network growth and optimize capacity during large‑scale upgrades.
• Experience with ground networks and air‑to‑ground systems and technologies.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration, implementation, and testing of NAS‑supporting systems and provide technical directions to field teams.
• Direct migration of legacy TDM circuits to IP‑based infrastructure including activation, cutover, troubleshooting and testing.
• Perform hands‑on configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Monitor system performance using dashboards and KPIs to ensure reliability and performance for mission‑critical aviation services.
• Identify trends and risks and develop corrective actions to ensure successful implementation and operation.
• Prepare and present status reports, dashboards and technical briefs for stakeholders and leadership.
