Job summary

ProSync is seeking a mid-level Industrial Security Specialist to support protection of classified information, personnel, facilities, and programs within DoD and IC environments. You will administer and maintain security programs, ensure compliance with NISP and government directives, and coordinate with FSOs and customers to ensure program actions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial security, DoD/IC experience, and an active IAT/IAM Level II certification, with the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in industrial security or related disciplines.
• Experience in DoD, government, or IC environments.
• Knowledge of industrial security regulations and protective procedures.
• Experience with inspections, audits, self-assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to obtain CDSE within one year of hire.
• Active IAT/IAM Level II certification required (e.g., Security+, GCED, CISSP, etc.).
• Top Secret level clearance with SAP/SAR eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support industrial security programs per NISP requirements and directives.
• Ensure compliance with policies governing classified information and assets.
• Maintain facility security clearance docs, access records, and classifications.
• Process classified visits, access, clearance actions, indoctrinations, and debriefings.
• Conduct reviews, self-inspections, audits, and assessments to identify deficiencies.
• Protect, transmit, store, and destroy classified and sensitive information.
• Coordinate with government customers, FSOs, and program managers on security actions.
• Investigate security incidents and document violations, supporting corrective actions.
• Develop and update industrial security procedures and program documents.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and security metrics for leadership and government.
• Provide security training and awareness for employees.
