Job summary

ProSync is seeking a Security Specialist III to ensure security and intelligence compliance with policies and regulations for the DoD and IC. The role emphasizes risk assessment, inspections, and safeguarding classified information within a national defense context.

Qualified candidates bring at least five years in physical, industrial, information, and personnel security with ICD-705 experience and a Secret or higher clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in physical, industrial, information and personnel security (PYSEC/INFOSEC/PERSEC) within DoD or IC.
• Experience with ICD-705 compliance.
• Must hold a Secret clearance or higher.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply governing policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP Security Compliance Inspections and Self-Inspections.
• Report, document and investigate security incidents.
• Review governing policy including DoD Security Directives and JAFAN series.
• Communicate orally and in writing with managers, civilians and military across DoD and other agencies.
• Demonstrate ability to follow instructions and retain a broad range of policies and procedures.
• Possess knowledge of security classification methods and eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
