Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Mid Level Electrical/Controls Engineer for the Power Design Engineering group. This role supports developing and applying electrical/controls design techniques, calculations, and specifications on diverse power facilities across North America.

The position requires collaboration with cross-discipline teams, mentorship for junior staff, and ensuring safety, constructability, and on-time project delivery in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for projects of all sizes and levels of complexity.
• Incorporate contract and customer requirements to meet or exceed project goals.
• Develop and apply understanding of design methods, codes, and Kiewit guidelines for design calculations and specifications.
• Prepare technical specifications, evaluate bids, and coordinate with construction partners.
