Job summary

NISC is actively seeking skilled software developers to join the iVUE Connect Utility Customer Care & Billing software development team. You will work on dynamic pricing options and customer-service enhancements, contributing across full-stack development.

The role emphasizes collaboration in a hybrid environment with a focus on quality, innovation, and member-focused solutions, using modern tooling and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in software development.
• Proficiency with Angular and/or TypeScript; strong front-end emphasis.
• Experience with cloud tech stack including AWS, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Kafka and Cassandra.

Responsibilities

• Design and build responsive web applications.
• Stand up RESTful web services.
• Container-driven development using Kubernetes and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, and implement new features.
• Research, analyze, and resolve moderately complex customer issues and bugs.
• Unit test and integration test code as needed.
• Follow established software development methodologies and procedures.
• Explore and prototype intelligent agent-based features to enhance UX or automate workflows.
• Other duties as assigned.
