Job summary

NISC is seeking a seasoned software developer to join the iVUE Connect Utility Customer Care & Billing team. You will contribute to dynamic pricing features and enhance customer service for Members across North America.

We value collaboration, learning, and innovative problem solving in a hybrid work environment with multiple office locations. A bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent experience is required, along with strong front-end and back-end skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science-related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript in front-end development.
• Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming; familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design and build responsive web applications.
• Stand up RESTful web services.
• Container-driven development using Kubernetes and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features.
• Research, analyze, and resolve moderately complex customer issues and bugs.
• Unit test and integration test code as needed.
• Follow established software development methodologies and procedures.
• Explore AI-assisted features to enhance UX or automate workflows.
• Other duties as assigned.
