Job summary

National Information Solutions Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer II for Connect Service Software with a front‑end focus on Angular.

The role supports a hybrid schedule across multiple office locations and emphasizes a strong frontend team capable of building responsive web apps and RESTful services. The position requires 5+ years in software development, expertise in Angular/TypeScript and Java, and experience with cloud and database technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient with Angular and/or TypeScript.
• Java or other object‑oriented programming experience.
• Experience with Postgres and Oracle databases.
• Experience with automated testing (unit/integration/end‑to‑end).
• Experience with cloud tech (AWS, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Kafka, SSO, Cassandra).
• Proficient in responsive design and performance optimization.
• Familiar with Git workflows and development tooling.
• Knowledge of TDD and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo.

Responsibilities

• Design and build responsive web applications.
• Stand up RESTful web services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement features.
• Research, analyze, and resolve moderately complex issues and bugs.
• Unit test and integration test code as needed.
• Follow established software development methodologies and procedures.
• Prototype intelligent agent features to enhance UX and automate workflows.
• Other duties as assigned.
