Job summary

NCMEC seeks a Senior Manager, Individual Giving in Alexandria, VA to build and manage a mid-level donor program, fostering retention and upgrades. The role leads portfolio strategy, donor segmentation, and collaborative campaigns with philanthropy leadership.

You will drive engagement, coordinate donor journeys, and support fundraising initiatives across foundations and major gifts, working within a team focused on growth and measurable revenue outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant nonprofit fundraising experience, including front-line or mid-level fundraising.
• Demonstrated experience building or improving a donor program, portfolio, or pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and continuously improve the mid-level giving program.
• Manage a portfolio of mid-level donors with discovery, cultivation, solicitation, renewal, upgrade, and stewardship.
• Create tailored engagement and ask strategies based on giving history and capacity.
• Conduct donor outreach, schedule meetings, and ensure timely next steps and stewardship experiences.
• Develop strategies to improve donor retention and upgrades.
• Identify and prepare qualified donors for transition to major gift portfolios.
