Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification, preferred.
• Valid CDL CLASS A preferred.
• Must pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background check (last 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Inspects and repairs standard components.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Performs facility maintenance duties.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to assess complaints.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic records.
• Complies with safety and DOT/MOT guidelines.
• Supports operations with additional duties as needed.
