Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet in Austin, IN. The role includes mobile service with a company vehicle, weekly pay, and a range of benefits.

Training and growth opportunities are provided to advance skills in diesel repair. Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational certification, CDL is preferred, and the ability to drive Ryder vehicles.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
• Routine preventive maintenance including oil changes, brakes and tires.
• Diagnostics and repairs including AC and electrical systems.
• Experience with heavy/medium duty equipment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Make decisions on vehicle diagnostics and repair.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complex repairs with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
